I have been thinking of starting a blog for many years but didn’t have the courage. With Covid I finally decided that the time was now. My faith in Christ is something that is very important to me and something that I feel led to share with everyone I can. If you know Christ but have faltered in your faith for whatever reason or are seeking a relationship with Christ for the first time this is the place for you. Through this blog I will post on various topics including applying Biblical principles to music, topical Bible studies, word studies, studying the lives of Biblical people, and deeper looks into specific scriptures.

I love music of all genres and have seen firsthand that songs in any genre can have a Biblical principle inside them. Often for me the lyrics or beat of a song will be able to communicate what I’m thinking or feeling even when I can’t find the words. My aim is to show you how almost any song can help us apply the Bible in our lives or give us the motivation we need at a given time.

 I am not a great theologian; I want to focus on how we can apply the Bible in our everyday lives. Sometimes the posts may get semi technical, but I do desire above all else for them to be applicable as well. Bible study is an essential element of the Christian life but can be especially difficult at first.

For many years I have let fear get in the way of what I have been called to do. The time for fear has past and it is time to step out of the shadows and share what I was always meant to share. I hope you will join me on this adventure and bear with me as I find my unique voice in a saturated world.
